How to get to Tete de Chien

How to get to Tete de Chien

Right Folks,

This is a travel post about Tête de Chien, a rocky formation overlooking Monaco, Cap d’Ail and Beausoleil. It is, in my opinion, the best spot from which to view all of Monaco. I am pretty sure you can also see Italy in the distance and the view of the sea from the Tête is bloody spectacular. I imagine many of you have a place like this wherever it is that you live, a place that you want to visit but for whatever reason you just never get around to it. Until last year, this has been Tête de Chien for me.

Travel Notes Positano

Travel Notes Positano

This is Positano. It’s such a lovely place. Especially from the sea. In fact better from the sea. I have traversed the single lane roads hugging all of the Amalfi coast and it is a stressful, daunting experience.

Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea

This is a blast from the past or my own contribution of sort to the recent 10-year challenge craze. Normally, I’m not the one for internet crazes, nor am I a particularly nostalgic person, but I found this album while looking for a photo of an old dish and thought why not. It was an interesting trip, one of the first ones with that job actually.

My Favourite Fresh Food Markets - Cote D’Azur Edition

My Favourite Fresh Food Markets - Cote D’Azur Edition

I am all for Whole Foods when in North America or the UK, but when in France you can’t beat a fresh fruit and veg market. The quality of produce is superior, but more than that, it’s the atmosphere, the good and the grumpy, the smells and the sounds. I love it all. Because of my job I spend a lot of time in markets, but you’ll probably find me in one of the below-mentioned markets at least once or twice a week even when I am not working.

7 Things I Like About Naples

7 Things I Like About Naples

I have been coming to Naples for 12 years now. I love the place, feels lawless, completely different from the rest of Western Europe. Completely different from Northern Europe to be frank. And, oh man, is it different from North America.
